The Huntly Nordic Ski Club was founded in 1998 by a group of individuals who have been involved with Nordic skiing in Aberdeenshire for a number of years. We are interested in all forms of Nordic skiing: track, racing, touring, telemark and roller skiing. The club is open to all ages. We aim to cater for both novice and the more experienced skier and are particularly keen to involve families.

We organises a variety of events throughout the year both on snow and rollerskiing. We have a variety of training groups and help all members develop their skiing skills.

We are closely involved with the Huntly Nordic & Outdoor Centre in promoting Nordic skiing and assisting each other wherever possible. For example, we jointly run the highly successful Junior Development Squad and many of our skiers have gone on to the various GB Teams and even competed at the Olympics.

We also work closely with other bodies such as Aberdeenshire Council and the Forestry Commission in for example maintaining and improving the Clashindarroch Forest Trails.
