The aims of Room to Grow are:

* To utilise the gardens of council houses in Huntly and other available spaces to grow food for the community

* To empower residents of Huntly by providing them with experienced physical support to grow their own food

* To provide opportunities to improve health and wellbeing, reduce isolation and loneliness while gaining financial savings

* To further support the community by distributing the excess produce grown through this scheme

* To work with other agencies in the areas of physical and mental health, social and economic deprivation
